Have your say - NHS England consults public about Evidence-Based Interventions
30 Jul 2018, 11:16
GP practices will be open this bank holiday Friday (8 May). Opening hours may vary so please visit your practice website for specific opening hours and contact details. Please don’t turn up at your GP practice, call first for advice. If you need advice about possible coronavirus symptoms visit www.111.nhs.uk/service/COVID-19/
Local GP practices continue to work hard to provide healthcare advice and support to local patients. GPs are working mainly over the telephone or via video consultations instead of face-to-face at the moment, to help patients and staff stay safe. GPs can still see patients face-to-face if there is a medical reason to do so; but this will be determined by telephone triage or video consultation first.
The usual ‘Extended Access’ appointments will also be available: again contact your GP surgery for advice or visit: www.hertsvalleysccg.nhs.uk/your-services/local-services/gp-extended-access-appointments
The majority of pharmacies will open between 2pm and 5pm on the bank holiday. Find further details about pharmacy services on the NHS website. www.nhs.uk/service-search/find-a-pharmacy
For all urgent health concerns please visit 111 online 111.nhs.uk . Only ring 999 in an emergency.
