We have received the results of our 360° stakeholder survey. We were very pleased to have such a high response rate – at 70%, which is our best performance and a good deal higher than the national average. A big thanks to all our stakeholders who took the time to give thier views in this independently commissioned and conducted survey. The majority of the respondents were our GP members, in accordance with NHS England’s stipulations. 

Our overall results were very good and we had particular successes around leadership and the monitoring of quality. NHS England have identified Herts Valleys as an exemplar on leadership and and Ipsos Mori have asked us to provide some insight into how we managed to achieve such positive results on leadership and to increase our ratings in that area so considerably.

We also performed well on stakeholders having confidence in our commissioning decisions and on communicating our decisions well.

Our main area for improvement to address is that many respondents wanted more opportunities to influence decision-making and to see that their views are taken into account. We will be working hard to look at how we can improve on these areas.
