CCG sets out timeline for decision on funding of services at Nascot Lawn
Herts Valleys CCG is planning to make a decision about the future funding of respite provision no later than 16 November 2017.
The CCG can confirm that it has received a “Proposal for the continuation of a nurse–led respite service at Nascot Lawn” from representative families who use Nascot Lawn and is currently considering the proposal. At recent engagement meetings Herts Valleys CCG invited families to provide additional information to inform its decision about the future funding of respite provision at Nascot Lawn, by no later than 9am on Monday 6 November 2017.
As the county council has statutory responsibility for commissioning short breaks, Herts Valleys CCG has asked the council to put forward a proposal for the future commissioning of services at Nascot Lawn so that it can consider joint funding in more detail. The county council has confirmed it will be sending a full response to the CCG by 6 November.
Herts Valleys CCG's funding for respite provision at Nascot Lawn will continue at the current level, subject to a new decision being made by the CCG.
